We were at the Riverview Country Club in Appleton on Saturday to celebrate with Hannah Brown & Stephen Izon at their wedding and reception. We usually meet well before the day to go over all of the details face to face, but Hannah & Stephen are from Washington DC, so we did the planning over the phone. We kicked off the big day at the ceremony which we provided sound reinforcement for. The prelude offered several selections of modern music played by the Vitamin String Quartet. The bridesmaids were all dressed in yellow, perfect for the bridesmaid processional to “Yellow” by Coldplay, in the classical version. Hannah’s processional was to “Canon In D” a version that we suggested, and the recessional was to a piano version of Alicia Keye’s “No One” which they found on “You Tube.” We have ceremony packages that start as low as $100 for reinforcement, check it out on our website.
The reception kicked off in traditional east coast style with the bridal party introductions to “SOS” by Rihanna, followed by their first dance, the original “Stand By Me” by Ben E King, a classic which still sounds good today, as it was 50 years ago.
It was a small, intimate wedding of just over 80 guests, but that didnt stop them from having a blast! These guests really know how to dance. We played everything from the Beach Boys to the Black Eyed Peas, to Motown!
Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!
