Last Saturday’s wedding reception was at the hollowed grounds of “Lambeau Field” aka, the Frozen Tundra! Joe & Molly Hendrick’s are TRUE Packer’s Fans. Have you ever been to Lambeau Field for a wedding reception? Check one out if you haven’t, your wedding experience will never be the same. They reside down in the West Allis area, but the reception was in Green Bay. After many trips up and down the highway, to plan the event, it finally came. The whole night had a “Packer Theme” ambience. Cocktails began at 5pm in the Pre Function room on the fourth floor. We used our sattelite speakers in the prefunction area to play some classical cocktail music, through the main system in the Legends ballroom, so music could be heard throughout. Chris Cole ushered in the bridal party before dinner, and played everything from the Monday Night Football theme to “I love My Green Bay Packers!” by Eddy J. Can anyone say, it’s time for a wedding in Green Bay, football style? What a FUN song? and it really got everyone in the mood for a great party!
Other fun requests that Molly & Joe had included, Dancing Queen, Summer of ’69, Save A Horse Ride a Cowboy, Brown Eyed Girl, Margaritaville, Ring Of Fire, Hotel California, Electric Slide, Mony Mony, Cha Cha Slide, Cotton Eyed Joe, Can’t Help Falling in Love, and more were just a few.
The last song of the night was the “Bears Still Suck Polka,” by the Da Yoopers. aint that the truth! How appropriate? It was a fantastic night! Erin and the Staff at Lambeau Field were terrific! If you are getting married and are a Packer fan, check out Lambeau Field, it’s awesome!
