This past Saturday, we had the honor and priviledge to provide the entertainment for Matt & Toni Jensen at the Pontiac Convention Center in Janesville, WI. We have never played at the PCC, but it is a fantastic facility and the staff was wonderful. If you are planning a wedding and you are in SE Wisconsin, I highly recommend checking them out. The tables were decorated in Fall festive colors, and I absolutely loved their card box, it was a plastic pumpkin, with a slit at the top, perfect for thier Fall theme. We created a slide show montage using a Fall theme as well, so everything blended well together.
Matt & Toni’s first dance was “From This Moment” by Shania Twain, another great pick. We did the teddy bear toss, right before the Bouquet Toss for the kids 12 and under at the reception. That was a lot of FUN! Watch their eyes light up. I particularly loved the seating chart.
Matt & Toni had everyone’s names in a frame outside in the lobby, and they called it the “Hall of Fame,” and you needed to find your name on the picture frame and it would tell you where you were sitting.
Clever, unique idea! Photography was done by White Photography from Beloit, Wisconsin. They stayed all night, and were fabulous to work with. I highly recommend them!
Guests had to get their vocal chords tuned, as they were asked to “sing a song with love in it” to get Matt & Toni to kiss. We had several great renditions of some great songs! Everyone looked like they were having a blast. The Bridal Party came in to Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” and Matt & Toni entered to the chorus of “Encore/Numb” by Linkin Park & Jay Z. Lots of Country, current Top 40, and 80′s songs were requested throughout the night, including, the groomsmen asking me to play “Ride Wit Me” by Nelly at 11:00 pm on the nose, apparently it’s some tradition! They sang along with it! Too Much FUN! We ended the night with those remaining forming a circle, dancing, and belting out “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Congratulations Matt & Toni
Great Candy Table Idea, each guest could come to the table, fill their bag, and take it back to their tables all night long. “How Sweet It Is to Have Fallen In Love” was the saying on the table, how perfect!
