Helping Jesse & Liz through the planning process was as much FUN as their reception was. I always love it when couples are looking for suggestions for their feature dances. Liz wasn’t sure what song her dad wanted to dance to with her, so she let him pick it out. I always tell couples, if you are unsure of a good song, ask the one you are going to dance with. Anyway, we put together a CD for them, narrowing down their ideas to 10 songs, and let her dad pick it out, she ended up dancing with her dad to “Daddy’s Girl by Red Sovine.
The reception was at the Colonial House in Freedom. Photography was done by Bill Gellerman. Guests were treated to a variety of Jazz music from Michael Buble to Frank Sinatra. Shortly after toasts, we shared a short slide show montage of Jesse & Liz and their lives growing up. Country was KING at this reception, lots of requests for country.
I especially enjoyed the dance that Liz had with her father, she had us play a short video of her growing up as a child complete with live video footage. This was being shown in the background, while she danced with her dad. What a moment! We handed Jesse a red rose to give to his mom as he came out to the dance floor to dance with her, it really created a moment for both of them. Congratulations Jesse & Liz!
