We Celebrated with Tony Moyle & Jessica Ortscheid on Saturday night at the Stoney Creek Inn in Wausau! What a fun, fantastic event! The catering was done by Village Hearth Catering, and was out of this world, and brilliantly done! I highly recommend them. We broke the ice with trivia questions about Tony & Jessica to release the tables to the buffet. Couples had to demonstrate a kiss for them to kiss, it made for great dinner time entertainment!
We began the dancing portion of the night shortly after 8pm with their first dance, “Steady as We go” by the Dave Matthews Band. Guests were on the dance floor all night long with a solid mix of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. The bridal party danced in for the Grand March to “What is Love” by Haddaway, the perfect song from “Night at the Roxy” followed by “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain, one of the biggest charting hits of the last 10 years. It truly was a great night. Tony came up at the end of the night, and even wrote on the memo line of his check to me, “You were everything we were looking for in a DJ!” Thanks for letting us celebrate your biggest night, we wish you nothing but the best!

Matt Peden celebrated with Luke & Laura Schuetze at Davian’s in Menomonee Falls. Sometimes when he talks to a bride and groom they really do not know what they want. They know they want their friends and family to have a good time, they know they want people dancing and having fun, but they do not have a vision for the night.
Laura and Luke Geist, had a vision and they knew exactly what they wanted. They wanted their night to be elegant and reverant, they wanted to spend time with their friends and family and soak in all the days events. AND they wanted everyone to dance and have a good time.
The evening started with introductions of the parents, and wedding party, a prayer and a heartfelt toast by the father of the bride. The night ended with Violent Femmes ’Blister in the Sun’. In between the range of music ran the gammet, everything from Taylor Swift ‘Love Story’ to the Romantics ‘What I Like About You’. Thanks for allowing Sound Sensations to be a part of your special day.

We were at the Riverview Country Club in Appleton on Saturday to celebrate with Hannah Brown & Stephen Izon at their wedding and reception. We usually meet well before the day to go over all of the details face to face, but Hannah & Stephen are from Washington DC, so we did the planning over the phone. We kicked off the big day at the ceremony which we provided sound reinforcement for. The prelude offered several selections of modern music played by the Vitamin String Quartet. The bridesmaids were all dressed in yellow, perfect for the bridesmaid processional to “Yellow” by Coldplay, in the classical version. Hannah’s processional was to “Canon In D” a version that we suggested, and the recessional was to a piano version of Alicia Keye’s “No One” which they found on “You Tube.” We have ceremony packages that start as low as $100 for reinforcement, check it out on our website.
The reception kicked off in traditional east coast style with the bridal party introductions to “SOS” by Rihanna, followed by their first dance, the original “Stand By Me” by Ben E King, a classic which still sounds good today, as it was 50 years ago.
It was a small, intimate wedding of just over 80 guests, but that didnt stop them from having a blast! These guests really know how to dance. We played everything from the Beach Boys to the Black Eyed Peas, to Motown!
Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!
